Melanie Salvatore-August is the creator of Fierce Kindness, a movement of nonviolence and global consciousness shifting. She is also the author of Kitchen Yoga: Simple Home Practices to Transform Mind, Body and Life. In addition, she is a yoga and meditation teacher and mentor for Yogaworks, a CTA Yoga-Based Life Coach, Reiki healer, lululemon Brand Ambassador and a mama to three little boys. Natasha McGuinness is an avid traveler who’s sported a passport since she was three years old. After her return from living in London where she wrote Local Eats London, she began plotting her next adventure—resulting in a dreamy summer in Paris and her upcoming book, Local Eats Paris. Natasha is now a graduate student at University of Southern California and continues to spend her free time exploring the world’s culinary scene and collecting stamps in her passport.
Anne Bentley is a painter and illustrator living in the San Francisco Bay Area. She specializes in creating wall art, handmade cards, and textiles, and illustrates both adult trade and children’s books. She is a graduate of Ringling College of Art & Design and School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. Inspired by mid century architecture, fashion, fabrics, pottery and plants, her work combines traditional painting with digital drawing. Her many trips to the City of Lights helped inform the gorgeous aesthetic she brought to the pages of Local Eats Paris.
